Today, medicine is continuously developing, new medicines are discovered, and relatively old ones are improved and used in practice, most of them are still relevant in modern medicine. Capillary electrophoresis is a very important method. Most medicinal substances contain a chiral center. Part of medicinal substances containing a chiral center is used in the form of a racemate, which consists of an equimolar amount of enantiomers. Enantiomers act differently on the biological organism, because they differ in biological activity, action, toxicology. Chlorphenamine (INN, chlorpheniramine) is an antihistamine used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever, rhinitis, and urticaria. It is widely used in modern medicine to reduce side effects, that is why we decided to study the order of migration of chlorpheniramine enantiomers in capillary electrophoresis using charged cyclodextrins as chiral selectors, which is the subject of my thesis.
