Materials for ethnomycological study of mushrooms of Georgia

Annotation:
Based on the analysis of literary sources, herbarium specimens, and ethnomycological studies conducted in different parts of Georgia in 2014-2016, it was established that the local population has been using mushrooms since time immemorial, as food, medicinal, decorative, etc. purpose. Out of 150 types of common edible mushrooms, the local population uses up to 30 types of mushrooms as food. In this regard, talent is most valued Caesar's mushroom (Amanita caesarea), Champignon (Agaricus), Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), Honey fungus (Armillaria mellea)
