Types of fault-related folds on the example of the eastern Achara-Trialeti fold-and-thrust belt (Tbilisi urban area)

Annotation:

The structural analysis of the existing folds (Mtskheta, Lisi-Varketili, Teleti, Kumisი) within the eastern Achara-Trialeti fold-and-thrust belt (Tbilisi urban area) is presented. Based on the analysis of existing seismic profiles and structural cross-section, the opinion is expressed that ramp anticlines are mainly represented by I and II generation fault-propagation folds. All fault-propagation folds are asymmetrical.
